小孩浴場-木育遊戲場
位於新整修開放的「大溪國小日式宿舍」，一座有如「浴場」般的遊戲空間，孩子們可以領著木盆出發探索、沉浸式感受木製玩具和木頭環繞的溫度與樂趣。場內不只有來自世界各地的木製玩具、玩木浴場，還有為了開發屬於臺灣自己的扮家家酒遊戲所延伸的「大溪滷豆干」體驗區，透過模擬臺式滷味攤等場域情境，創造觸覺、視覺、聽覺等多重感官的互動，讓孩子享受探索與創造的樂趣。同時，也提供大人一個重新連結童心、創意與陪伴的機會與共鳴。小孩浴場以木玩和繪本為媒介，帶領使用者從玩心與好奇中出發，讓享受與遊戲的過程，成為往後啟發孩子創意與接觸工藝的起點。
Wood Bath-A Nurturing Wooden Play Space for Families.
Situated in the newly open historical Japanese-style building, which used to be Daxi Elementary School staff accommodation, Wood Bath is a playground that looks like a bathhouse. Carrying wood basins, children explore the space and immerse themselves in wooden toys, warmth, and fun while being surrounded by wood. In addition to the wooden toys from all over the world and the wooden bath, there is a “Daxi braised dried tofu stall” in the “canteen” where children can play house. At the miniature Taiwanese braised tofu stall, children use their senses of touch, sight, and hearing to interact with the toys and have fun in learning and making things. Meanwhile, it gives adults an opportunity to not only reconnect with their childhood and creativity but play with their children. With wooden toys and picture books, Wood Bath ignites children’s curiosity and playfulness and turns their enjoyment of the games into their inspiration and interest in craft in the future.

週五：第1場10:00-11:30，第2場14:00-15:30。
週六及週日：第一場10:00-11:30，第2場13:30-15:00，第3場15:10-16:40。

關於 大溪木育遊戲場
「木育」一詞概念源於日本，意指和木材利用有關的教育活動，透過親身體驗，讓人們親近木材、了解木文化，並通過互動來促進兒童的全面發展，不僅提供了感官訓練，還有助於情緒穩定和自然環境的保護。
在過去，木頭不僅是大溪產業的中樞、製作物件的材料，更是大溪人從小到大習以為常的日常。時至今日，從學校裡的課堂教育、到走在大溪街上的木器行、日式建築，再擴大到許多創意的工藝體驗活動，「木育」正以不同的方式，再次走入大溪人群、孩子的生活。透過「桃園木藝扎根計畫」，木藝教育走入校園，培養學童對木頭的知識與技能；「小孩浴場」以遊戲和想像力引導幼兒認識木頭，成為打開創意的鑰匙；「BUBU跳恰恰」則讓大人小孩一起動手做，讓木頭化身奔馳軌道的創意小車車。這些從大溪出發，以木育為核心的行動，正逐步串起教育、文化與生活，讓大溪的孩子與家庭，持續擁抱百年木業的底蘊，也在日常的行動中，感受木頭獨特的魅力。
About Wood Education Playgrounds of Daxi
The term, “wood education (moku-iku)”, originated in Japan, referring to the activities in which wood is used for education. By experiencing it first-hand, people get close to wood and learn about wood culture. Moreover, the interaction with wood promotes all-round development of children since it not only trains their senses but stabilizes their emotions and protects the natural environment.
In the past, wood not only was the core and production material of the industry in Daxi but had become part of the locals’ everyday lives. Nowadays, from the classes in schools, the woodworking shops in the street, the Japanese-style buildings to the creative woodworking projects, “wood education” has once again got close to people in Daxi and entered children’s life in different forms. Via “Taoyuan Woodworking Program”, wood education is taught in schools as children learn the knowledge of wood and woodworking skills. In “Wood Bath”, young children learn about wood through games and imagination, and wood serves as a key to unlocking creativity. “BUBU Race Cars” allows adults and children to work together, turning wood into creative toy cars running on the tracks. Starting from Daxi, these actions that center around wood education are slowly integrating education, culture, and life with each other. Furthermore, it allows the children and families in Daxi to keep embracing what they inherited from the century-old wood industry and feel the unique charm of wood in their daily lives.
